The IZB cements itself as a must-attend global event
Positive ratings abound for the trade fair

A small sample of the extensive and attractive offering from this year’s IZB International Suppliers Fair shows that it continues to garner positive ratings from a wide variety of suppliers. In this report, several firms share their assessments of the event which took place from 18 to 20 October in the city that hosts Volkswagen Group’s headquarters.

The IZB’s broad offering also opens doors for companies like Portuguese engineering firm Edaetech. Sales Engineer João Lopes notes, “Participating in this show was important for us in terms of establishing our relationship with Volkswagen, which we had begun developing at the previous event in the series. We were approved as metal prototype suppliers after an internal audit. Many of our clients are tier ones, so this trade fair puts us in contact with executives who have decision-making capacity.”

With 70% of Edaetech’s business dedicated to the automotive industry, Lopes regards the IZB as “one of the few trade fairs for automotive suppliers in which you can discuss issues that affect the entire supply chain, while at the same time obtaining information about products, materials and technologies. It gives you a head start when researching future investments.”
